Hungarian Feast

Last night Laura and Lew had everyone over for a Hungarian style dinner! The food is definitely different but the funny combinations taste pretty good...they seem to really like sour cream and paprika for some reason. Well I went over early and helped prepare some of the dishes, our menu was made up of beef goulash, dumplings, chicken paprikas and noodles, creamed spinach, salad, rolls, and hungarian nut bars for dessert! It was delicious : ) Last night it really finally started to hit me that I'm leaving in 3 days! I was very happy to get to spend time with my family, it's going to be difficult being away from them this semester but I know God's grace is sufficient! I wanted to thank everyone for the advice and words of wisdom and encouragement and thanks for all the prayers too! Here's some pictures of our fun night...

Well I didn't get a whole lot but Laura sure did, haha, Lew had just surprised her with a very nice camera for her birthday and she was pretty excited about using it! I probably won't write again until I am actually in Budapest, most likely once I get settled into my apartment and everything!

I'm so glad you finally started a blog. I miss you and it helps to see how your doing. I can't believe the summer is over and your leaving. When you get back we will have to spend some time together so you can meet our addition. Wish I could have been there for the dinner, looks like lots of fun. I will talk to you before you leave though! I love you!
